3+3+2+2+2
Build a sequence of measures on the right — each row is one time signature repeated for a number of bars. Press play and the accented click lands on beat one of whichever bar is active, then the pattern loops.
Quarter note: the BPM is the quarter-note speed, so eighths stay constant when you move between 4/4 and 7/8 — right for most rock, metal and prog. Each bar's beat: the BPM is applied to each bar's own beat unit, so 12/8 clicks twelve counts per bar at the BPM — handy for counting compás in twelve.
Pick a count-in above the beat strip and you get that many lighter ticks (or one or two bars of the first step) before the sequence starts — timed at the tempo of the first bar. It's saved with the preset.
Beat one is always accented. Add secondary accents per step by typing a grouping (e.g. 3+3+2+2+2 for a bulerías count starting on 12) or by tapping the dots in the row. Tap a dot to cycle it between normal, accented, and silent.
